Current Openings For The Ecig Flavourium

Currently we have two openings for our Port Hope Location:

Part Time Office Support:(1 Position)

This is a contract position for September 1- December 31, 2 days/approximately 16hrs a week located in Port Hope, Ontario

We are currently juggling 8 new projects, and we need to find the right person to support us!

If you are looking to work in an environment that will have you do different things every hour, continue reading.

Monitor news stories, help write proposals, add finishing touches to a PowerPoint deck, data entry, social media posting, researching, mapping, writing copy, editing.

We are looking for a Jack of all trades to help us complete everything we have set out by the end of 2020.

Skills:

• Experience with social media, more than publishing a post.  Relevant platforms include but are not limited to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
• Writing Skills! You can create punchy, cheeky, and fun copies. You understand what it takes to editorialize when needed, and the ability to be serious and business-like.
• Edit copy
• Research! You will do what it takes to get the full picture, and your Excel skills are not too bad when creating an Excel spreadsheet where all the data is quickly sorted and extracted! 
• Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
• Data entry
• You are comfortable making calls to cold calls and speaking with strangers. 
• You have a very pleasant demeanor, while being well spoken
• You understand and support Harm Reduction.

Pluses

• Moderate graphic skills 
• Access to a car (if we need you to deliver something, we will cover your gas and mileage) 
• You have the ability to take pretty pictures 
• You understand the world of vaping

The expectation for this role is you will be working in the office, which is located at 97 Walton street 2 days a week. 10-6pm. Compensation will be discussed during the interview process.

Part Time Retail Sales Associate Port Hope, Ontario (1 role)

The successful applicant will have an amazing personality and understand what it truly means to provide GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Key attributes of the outstanding candidate will include an energetic personality, integrity, honesty, vape knowledge and punctuality.

We want our staff to have fun and enjoy working at The Ecig Flavourium, but we also have great expectations. The environment we have created for our customers is fun, friendly, safe and educational. The successful candidate will be able maintain this environment while able to provide the following:

• An avid current vaper with a good general knowledge of all types of vape related products.
• A complete understanding of battery safety.
• A knowledge of ohm’s law and how that relates to safety, coils, batteries and devices.
• The capability of recommending products based on the individual’s requirements.
• The ability to advise both new and experienced vapers on maintenance and usage of existing and new devices. Troubleshooting is a key requirement.
• The ability to provide professional service and communication at all times.
• Self-motivated and able to follow direction and able to complete tasks and/ or projects unsupervised.
• Attention to detail
• A willingness to maintain an immaculate physical environment.
• Smart Serve certified is a plus! AS AGE VERIFICATION IS MANDATORY FOR ALL SALES!

We are currently seeking someone for approximately 8 hours per week every Saturday to start. Post COVID we will be adding a Sunday shift as well.  The right match may have the ability to increase hours and responsibilities based on their performance.
